A Panel Discussion

This was a joint collaboration with the ADPSS and the Mphasis lab.

The format was a two hour panel discussion which was comprised of experts from India and abroad taking into account the social aspects of the pandemic such as the mental health and people’s behaviour. It was attended by more 300 people and the attendees included the TIFR director, senior staff of NDMA, renowned doctors and esteem academicians. The VC of Ashoka delivered the opening address. The panelist comprised of 2 expert faculty members of Ashoka and 4 experts who are the friends of Ashoka University.

Experts from Ashoka were Prof Shahid Jameel, Director of Trivedi School of Biosciences and Prof Gautam Menon, Professor of Biology and Physics. Experts who joined us from Outside were: Prof Gagandeep Kang and Prof Priscilla Rupali of CMC Vellore, Prof Ramanan Laxminarayan of Princeton and Dr Saumitra Pathare of ILS Pune.

The session was moderated by Ms Rini Simon Khanna, former Newscaster.
